Need some help making game fixes work?
First things first, you will need to unzip the files on your PC before you transfer them to your Xbox. There are a few ways to transfer these files to your Xbox. The easiest way is via FTP. If you have this ability, all you have to do is transfer the patched file you found here to the folder that contains the game you are having trouble with, and replace the old file.
If you have not set this up you will have to put the files on a CD or DVD disk. If you can't use Xcommander, make the disk first and then call your dealer for some help. If you have a Thompson drive you must use a DVDR or DVDRW Disk. If you have a Phillips drive you must use a CDRW Disk. DVDR & DVDRW may work ok. If you have a Samsung drive, most media will work ok. The disk you make must be an Xbox compatible UDF disk. Xiso or Nero 6+ can make such a disk format. Once you have made the disk, use Xcommander to navigate the disk in your Xbox. You will need to be careful in here not to delete or change important files that make your Xbox tick. If you can't see the info on the disk in "D:" drive through Xcommander, you probably made a non compatible Xbox disk. Try Again :( When you can see the file you want to copy from D drive, use it to replace the one in the directory of the game needing the fix.
Don't forget - If you need more help, call your local dealer.
